Our Story

Why we built LifeTap

LifeTap is owned and run by Tyson Doreme. Growing up, Tyson's mom always dealt with medical issues, and watching that shaped how he thinks about safety and preparedness. He built LifeTap to help people like her — and the families who care for them — feel more protected.

His co-founder brought the same mission from a different angle. She lives with POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), a condition that can bring on sudden drops in blood pressure, a racing heart, and fainting, often with little warning. She helped build LifeTap for herself first, and for everyone else navigating a condition that can turn an ordinary moment into an emergency.

Together, that's the reason LifeTap exists: not just a business idea, but something built out of necessity, by people who understand what it's like to need help fast — or to worry about someone who might.

We built a wristband that carries your critical medical information securely and puts it one tap away for the people trained to look for it in an emergency, so families can have real peace of mind.

Every wristband we make carries that same purpose: making sure the right information reaches the right hands, right when it matters most.
